We want to thank all who attended our March 1 tryout. We had anticipated being able to complete our team rosters following the first tryout session, but we have received inquiries from other players who were unable to attend. So we are considering providing an additional opportunity for these girls. In the meantime, we need to hear from those girls who did attend, to confirm their interest in participating in the Ranger program, so that we can determine how many roster spots are available.

Spring Tryouts
For girls grades 7 through 9

 Participants will need a current AAU membership card
in order to try out. The card can be purchased online prior
to the March 1 session, or at the door.


A staff of high school coaches will oversee the tryout sessions, providing evaluation on game fundamentals and skill development. Instruction will also be given during the sessions on all aspects of the game in a seminar-type environment.

There is no charge for the tryouts. Interested players are expected to attend one of the full tryout sessions, but can also attend both. Arrangements can sometimes be made for special situations that prohibit participation during those days. To inquire about a special arrangement, email or call a club representative (see contact page on this website). Those who are placed on a Rangers team following the tryouts will be expected to attend weekend practices throughout the 5-month club season.

Since the Rangers place a high priority on the academic performance of its members, most practices are held on weekends during the school year so that they do not interfere with school work.
